The Elms development is set to become a premier Seniors Retirement Complex catering to Elmvale, the Township of Springwater, and neighboring areas. It aims to enhance existing relationships, foster new friendships, and support residents in their hobbies and interests. The master plan encompasses up to 240 residential units, a medical center, internal roads, recreational areas, and pathways, all on a 10.7-acre site. Reflecting Elmvale’s agricultural heritage, the design draws inspiration from the surrounding farmland, incorporating traditional, agrarian architectural elements with simple, efficient shapes.

Honoring the town’s history, traditional artwork and cherished keepsakes will adorn public spaces, offering a contrast to the residence’s modern, light-filled interiors. The design will utilize local, natural materials to maintain authenticity. Shared amenities, including an indoor and outdoor community space and a garden, will promote a lively, active community. The development will offer a variety of one- and two-bedroom units to accommodate diverse resident needs.

We are collaborating with the Elmvale Active Seniors Residence board on the initial phase, which will feature 66 Life-Lease units in the Elm Flats building and 12 garden suites.
