Jack Willmott

BLA (Candidate), Junior Landscape Designer

Jack is a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph. In previous years, Jack has worked seasonally in landscape supply. It has given him the opportunity to work with contractors directly and to further understand material in the landscape. At the start of the new year, Jack accepted an offer to study abroad at the University of Dundee in Scotland. Through the 4 months, he studied Interior and Environmental Design, gaining a better understanding of interior spaces and urban design solutions. While on exchange, he played for UoD’s Men’s Basketball Team. Jack is set to assist in coordinating the exhibition at the 2025 LABASH conference hosted by the University of Guelph. After completing his BLA, Jack has his sights set on a career as a licensed landscape architect under the OALA. He is a believer in harnessing natural beauty and in creating thoughtful and meaningful solutions.
