A third-year student at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Mathijs brings a wealth of hands-on experience from summers spent in greenkeeping and regional planning. His profound interest in ecology and commitment to land stewardship make him a valuable addition to our team. As he embarks on his journey towards becoming a licensed landscape architect under the OALA, Mathijs currently leads the planning committee for the 2025 LABASH conference, hosted by the University of Guelph. Mathijs is dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience for attendees through meticulous oversight of conference events. Here’s to a promising future with Mathijs as a key member of our SDG family!
