Jack Willmott

Landscape Designer
BLA, OALA, CSLA (Associate)

Jack is a graduate of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Guelph, during which he held roles as a co-host of LABash, a North American student conference, and as a student of Environmental Design at the University of Dundee in Scotland. With his sights set on becoming a licensed landscape architect under the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, Jack is committed to building a career rooted in both professional growth and community impact.

While ambitious in vision, Jack brings a grounded sense of practicality to his work. He believes that design should connect back to a single core idea or identity, envisioning spaces that are not only functional but genuinely reflective of their nature. Simplicity, clarity, and purpose guide his approach, shaping everything from concept development to execution. His project interests span a variety of scales and typologies, with a soft spot for recreational design. Community-oriented by nature, Jack is a sponge for continued learning, always eager to absorb knowledge, share ideas, and connect with others in the industry.

On nights and weekends, you’ll often find him staying active on the turf, hardwood, or ice, living out the same energy and exploration that inspires much of his design work.
