Purchased by the Halton Catholic District School Board, this new park will be located at the corner of Hixon Street and Nyla Court in Oakville, ON and will be complimented by 14 new residential lots.
Hixon Park will include shade trees, a shade shelter, a half basketball court, a variety of seating, junior and senior playgrounds, ornamental planting, a drinking fountain and lighting. The design also incorporates the preservation of a large existing tree in the centre of the park that will not only add to the aesthetic quality of the park but provide much needed shade as well.
